Combinations for the confused.

My cousin is getting married! My friend is also getting married! They happen to be marrying each other…. Surprise! Congratulations! Yay! Because I’m highly strung I’ve put together an initial look moodboard to get my ankara right. No crusty, dusty or busted for me. I will be prepared.

I found the closest approximation to my cloth at Allthingsankara.com a beautiful site that  has a gorgeous range of all things Ankara- literally (including nail wraps….). Add two of the prettiest colour palettes I’ve ever seen on colourlovers by Artdi and Icarust and you have half of the descent of my tiny little mind.

With my colour palettes in place I could move on to the next phase…. THE FACE! Luckily, Pinterest always has my back when looking for a LEWK and boom! This orange crease might be the final contender. I love it that much!

And lastly, the final touches….. for now. When it comes to fit two retailers have consistently provided my wide and half sized feet with comfortable and fashionable wares. Whilst still referring to my trusty palettes (which cut the search in half tbh) Boohoo gave me pointed toe wrap ups that come in two colours I could wear….. New Look gave me v-front courts which call to my very soul and wide fit block heels which call to my toes.

I feel I’m on to a winner. But what do you think? Will these colours go? Is this a bit tew much? Should I be focusing on something else?
